My Back-to-School Essentials

Welcome to the blog! Today’s post will be a little different, steering towards back to school! These are some of my go-to supplies and items (this is not an ad/sponsored, just a genuine list) I purchase when preparing for the first day of school.

  • Black ink, ball point pens. Yes, I know this is so basic but I’m obsessed with the brand I get (which is Uniball). They write so smoothly and I can’t remember a time when I haven’t not used them.

  • Essentials pouch. This usually consists of hand sanitizer, ibuprofen, a roll on perfume, chapstick, gum, and other small items like that. I keep it in a small pocket in my backpack and it’s so helpful having those items at my disposal.

  • White out. A perfectionist's dream. Whenever I mess up notes, and I can’t erase them, it ruins my day. I usually end up restarting, then redoing everything. But that is such a waste of time, so white out is a lifesaver.

  • A calculator. This is so lame but I love not having to get up in the middle of math class to get a calculator. I hate standing up in the middle of a lesson and avoid it at all costs so this is my favorite part of math (my teacher isn’t the greatest…).

  • A planner. Ask me why I spent thirty-three dollars on a planner from Paper Source (I forgot to check the price whoops). It’s super cute and has adorable labels so it’s okay. I’ll use it so much – that paired with having a job – that it’ll practically be free (girl math)!! Jokes aside this is so helpful, especially considering that my schedule this year will be a lot busier than previous years.

  • One five subject notebook. This may seem a little much, but I’m obsessed with these five subject notebooks. If you don’t know what that is, its one big notebook with dividers for five classes. I like not having multiple spiral bound notebooks that get tangled. It’s a lot easier to keep track of notes and such.

  • Annotating tabs. I don’t use my nice ones from Amazon, but I use ones from Target. They work just as well and are more vibrant so they’re perfect for analyzing books in literature class.

Well, that’s it for today’s post! I’m hoping that these nice supplies will keep me motivated throughout the year. I hope you enjoyed reading and I’ll see you next week!
