february tbr & life update

hello everyone! it’s been quite a while since i’ve put up a blog post, so many apologies! school and life has been busy but i’m hoping to get back on track soon. this post will be a mix of this month’s tbr (lowkey been slacking off in the reading department) and a life update!

life update:

since the beginning of 2025, i’ve been getting back into the swing of things — school, work, regular family stuff. halfway through january, i lost my grandfather, which i may have mentioned on my instagram story. it’s been strange, and the feelings are complicated, but i think overall i’m doing fine. school has been kicking my butt, and that’s been kind of tough mentally. one thing thats been positive is the fact that i’ve been getting back to the gym and spending more time with friends! i’ve been anticipating a few things, like taking family trips, my birthday in may (i’ll be getting my drivers license!!), selecting courses for next school year, and more.

in march, i’m going on a journalism class trip, which i’m super excited for. i’ll be celebrating some friends’ birthdays this month, so spending time with them is going to be great. i’ve also been working quite a bit, which has taken up a lot of free time on weekends, which can be irritating if i have stuff i need or want to do, but oh well.

this is kind of a lazy post while i plan other posts ahead, but i hope you enjoyed and see you next week!
